What’s the process to obtain a visa for international visitors?
If you are required a visa for entry into Canada to attend one or more of our training courses, then you should apply for the Visitor visa (temporary resident visa)- details can be found here on the Government of Canada website. Most visitors can stay for up to 6 months in Canada. You can find out if you need a visitor visa using this tool.
Once you register for the training course, you would receive the invitation letter from Solvyris. This letter would follow the required format as set by the Government of Canada.
Once you have your letter of invitation ready, you should apply here online to get your visitor visa. At the first page of the application, choose “To visit for business” (to issue your visa for business purposes).
Be sure to leave enough time for your visitor’s visa to be processed. See the application processing times to find out how long it may take to process a visa in your current country of residence. Most countries require 30–60 days in advance, and therefore you should aim to make your Solvyris course reservation at least 90 days in advance.
